The Kids Travel Cam has been created especially for children, from a child’s perspective, so kids can look at exciting places to go and cool things to do when they get there.

The Kids Travel Guide will help you pinpoint where in the world you’d like to go, and ways of discovering interesting things about other countries and the people who live there.

The website was originally created after the editor began travelling with her son around Europe, and enjoyed watching him soak up the knowledge and experiences of the places they travelled to.

You can read all about where the inspiration for the Kids Travel Cam came from here.

Cameron was the figurehead for the website and his adventures are charted in Cam’s Travel Blog, which features ‘on-location’ reports and blogs from Cam himself. His presenting skills earned him a spot as a reporter at Blackpool Zoo and his travels made the headlines.

Cameron still enjoys travelling but is now concentrating on his studies and playing rugby. However he will still be writing book reviews for the website and recommending travel gadgets for the Cool Corner.

Meanwhile the website has grown up too and is now a general guide for children to read about the wonders of the world beyond their doorstep.

There’s a big wide world out there that’s full of awesome things to see. Let’s discover them together.
